Who makes our products?
The fabrics in our products are all designed/made by us and either digitally printed, hand stamped (block printed) or hand dyed. Some of our garments we sew in house, and we also have help from another mother/daughter team, Carol and her daughter Carolynn, who are based in Brisbane, QLD. Before we post out any of our garments we always ensure they pass our quality control standards.
Are our products Australian made?
A resounding YES! This is very important to us, which is why we do not have our products mass-manufactured overseas.
What is block printing?
The block printing process involves hand carving a design onto a stamp (we use rubber, or “ezycarve”) similar to linocutting, then applying ink to the stamp and stamping the fabric using a special ink.
Are our printing inks safe?
Yes! We use natural based Aquatex inks that are safe for little people’s skin! We also pre-wash all fabric.
Are our garments machine washable?
Yes! Despite what you may have thought, our block printed garments are actually very easy to care for. Simply wash inside out with like colours on the cold setting in your washing machine. Do not tumble dry, do not dry clean. For best results we recommend ironing on a warm setting, inside out. Our block printed garments are heat set for longevity and you will find that our garments can be washed time and time again and will still look fresh!
We recommend hand washing scarves and we include detailed care instructions with our orders.
Do we use all natural fibres?
Yes! Most of our fabrics are 100% cotton, but we also use a some cotton/linen or cotton/hemp fabric blends.
Do we do custom orders?
We love to create custom orders when we are not too busy! Please email us at email@example.com to discuss your individual requirements.
Are our garments true to size?
We try to ensure our garments are as true to size as possible but as babies vary greatly in size as do sewing patterns, please see individual listings for sizing. If you have a specific query regarding sizing please send us a message.
Do we accept returns?
We accept returns and exchanges for change of mind or size for non-custom orders within 30 days. The cost of postage back to us and re-postage (in the case of exchanges) will be at the buyer’s expense. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
